Art is a harmony parallel with nature. -Paul Cezanne, French artist
What is spring/summer without going around the city in your bicycle? Although spring started a little late this year, I am still elated to explore more of the city now that it’s getting warmer. Rom and I rode our bicycles and commuted to Lake Shore Drive via train (yellow line + red line) to hang out in the park and visit the Shedd Aquarium.
The founder, John G. Shedd decided that Chicago must have the biggest and the best aquarium, knowing how every great city has one. Opened on May 30, 1930, the museum was designed by one of Chicago’s most prestigious and accomplished architectural firms, Graham, Anderson, Probst & White.
The Shedd Aquarium is the largest indoor aquarium in the world. The 10 acre property houses diverse collections of water dwellers from the tiniest fishes to the gigantic (and scaryyyy!!!) stingrays.
