We went to this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival Day 1, which ended with a beautiful set from Wilco. It was a spontaneous decision since we haven’t really talked about going, but we just can’t miss it for the world! You can find this year’s complete lineup with schedule here.
I was looking forward to the performances of How to Dress Well, Panda Bear and Chvrches, aside from Wilco.
Here are two short clips of their performance:

One of my recent Internet discoveries, Waxahatchee, will be performing on Sunday.
The festival food trucks were awesome, but the best part was the unbelievably PERFECT doughnuts from Firecakes!
We checked out the Record Fair and found A LOT of amazing booths of cool accessories, books, vinyls, and even indie recorded cassette tapes! We purchased a punk album in tape for 5 USD.
There were also spoken word performances at the other side of Union Park near the booth for books.
Bonus: Rommel was recruited by the Chicago Riot Rugby team!
See you next year!
