One of my favorite places in my hometown (Quezon City, Philippines) is Alabama Street near our gym. Along that street is a place of resurrection furniture and found objects.
But what I love about it is several times in a year, they hold an Arts and Crafts Fair to showcase creative handmade products from different local businesses. Feast your eyes and heart to these absolutely adorable artsy-crafty finds!
Fabric Crafts
Check out these cute felt/plushies of popular characters:
Also, they are not just for eyecandy; there were keychains, bookmarks, curtains, and more!
You can even find your favorite mochi immortalized into a fluffy keychain!
The craftmanship of creating these felt gentlemen is impeccable.
Paper Crafts
Lots of paper goods were available such as hand-made notebooks, postcards, greeting cards, and jewelry.
These origami pieces are unbelievably intricate for their mini-sizes!
Handmade Accessories
It was a haven of beautifully handmade accessories sourced out from different materials such as hemp, leather, tarps, resin, and beads among others.
I love these colorful trinkets and tarp wallets that give out a very vintage vibe.
Art and Craft Supplies
For the crafters and craft loving folks, craft supplies and handmade notebooks were also on sale.
Artworks
Of course, drawing and painting from local artists were also available. Some of them were creating live art for the shoppers too.
Prints
These cleverly designed screen printed posters and postcards were also a hit.
Here are more of my favorite finds from the arts and crafts fair:
