Last Saturday, I decided TO BRING MY WORK TO MY OTHER WORK!🤪

In 2011, I witnessed my favorite radio station in the Philippines shut down due to financial constraints. Their unique programming, supporting plenty of independent artists, was not translating to the ratings and ad revenues they needed to survive. Many of us stood outside the building as they signed off with their legal ID for the very last time💔 (swipe to 2nd slide for a photo I took that night!). I used to manage bands and go to that station constantly to connect. Unbeknownst to them, I have memorized their legal ID and been secretly practicing to say it in front of a mirror when I was a teenager. And now here we are. (:

Hey friends!🌤 It’s @pitchforkfest weekend and I hope you are enjoying yours however you are spending it. Here’s a throwback photo from 2019’s fest.😅 I had a blast seeing my fellow @chirpradio folks yesterday and meeting new people (talking about music is always fun)! Enjoyed watching @parquetcourts @officialspzd, and @thenational as well. @indigofaraway signed records at our tent too!🤩
