Hi! I am a papercut artist based in a tiny home studio in Chicago and a radio dj for 107.1FM.
I draw and cut all my designs by hand using a small precision knife with innumerable tiny little blades. Some of my cut-art are available for purchase at Paperhugger Studio.
Commission a Custom Papercut Piece
Using watercolors and acrylics, I occasionally experiment to compose mixed media pieces. I also do illustrations and most of my past works (a regular comic strip and a substantial number of political cartoons, some of which have slightly gotten me into trouble in the past) have appeared in The Manila Collegian – the official student publication of UP Manila – my alma mater.
As a DJ for 107.1FM in Chicago, it is exciting that I get to share diverse music to a fun audience every Saturday 9pm CST and to check out new releases from cool artists.
At the beginning of 2017, I also started handling the CHIRP online newsletter and it’s a thrill to be discovering local events, organizations, and other proudly Chicagoan stuff to share with our music-lovin’ subscribers.
